Practical training

Practical training encompasses professional and further training as well as welding qualification tests in the following specialities:

• Manual arc welding on steel
• Metal-inert gas welding on steel or aluminium
• Tungsten-inert gas welding on steel, aluminium, copper, nickel or titanium
• Gas welding
• Soldering, brazing
• Flame and plasma cutting

We hold all of our programmes as full-time courses throughout the year. However, we also provide evening and weekend training courses at scheduled times. Other times and dates may be arranged on request in special cases.

We hold welding qualification tests on a daily basis. Our SLV testing lab analyses the test pieces soon after the test, with results usually available after three days.
Welding certificate according to the European pressure equipment directive (PED) for manufacturing stationary pressure equipment

Issued on request for all welding qualification tests.

The international DVS-IIW directive serves as a basis for our training programmes (IIW: International Institute of Welding). This qualifies welders with an internationally recognised high-quality training certificate. Depending on the scope of training, participants are awarded an international certificate for fillet, sheet or pipe welding in the specific method trained.

We hold rebar welding courses using manual arc or metal inert gas welding.

Includes individual preparation for a welding qualification, or to renew or extend an expired test certificate.

Special training to client specifications, such as training to work on specialised materials such as cast iron, titanium, magnesium and similar.

We also provide training and testing for welders on site at the client’s premises on agreement.
